About Me
Hello, I’m Kaite!
MS advocate and healthcare communications professional
I am a writer and healthcare communications professional based in New Jersey. With more than 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech communications, I specialize in patient storytelling and content strategy.
My career took an unexpected turn after being diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis at age 34. My experience as a “patient” put my professional journey in a new perspective – motivating me to use my healthcare communication skills to support others living with MS and empower them to advocate for themselves. It also reminds me daily why clear, compassionate communication matters.
I use my voice and experience to share my experiences with MS on this blog. Through my writing, I aim to support others living with MS with honesty, optimism, and a touch of everyday magic.
I’ve shared my story as a guest contributor for the WebMD MS patient blogs from 2024-2025, on Multiple Sclerosis News Today, and on the Chronic Boss HUB. I’m a certified Patient Leader through Health Union and a proud MS Ambassador with the National MS Society.
Outside of work and MS life, I’m happiest reading, cooking, and listening to music. I love spending time with my family and friends, especially when we’re gathered around good food or soaking up sunshine at the beach.
Thanks for being here. I hope this space makes you feel a little less alone, and a little more optimistic.
